WebKraft.Net Outlook Express Mail Setup:

Here we will show you how to set up your Outlook Express mail program.

• Open the Outlook Express program by double clicking on the icon
• Click on Tools on the top of the menu bar and click on Accounts.
• Click on the Mail tab and click the Add button on the right.
• Click on the Mail option.
• Enter the name as you want it to appear

• Click the Next button
• Type your e-mail address using your login name as the first part of the address. The example given is login@webkraft.net

• Click the Next button
• Enter the mail server names as they are listed in the example.

• Click the Next button
• Type your e-mail login name including @webkraft.net in lower case letters
• Type your password here all in lower case letters
• Be sure the Remember Password box is checked

• Click the Next button

• Click the Finish button to complete the addition of the mail address.

• Continue this process as many times as necessary to enter all the addresses assigned to you. If you are using XP, you need to login as the proper user before continuing this process.

• Go back to the Tools, Accounts Screen again

• Double click on the account you want to modify

• Click on the Servers Tab up top

• Put a check in the box for My server requires authentication

• Click Apply

• If you click on the Settings button to the right you will see this screen

• Be sure the Use same settings as my incoming mail server is selected

• Click OK

• Click on the Advanced Tab up top

• Change the Outgoing mail SMTP server to 2500

• Click Apply and OK

OPTIONAL SETTINGS:

• Click on the Tools option again and click on Options.

• 16. Under the General tab you will want to check the first box and change the time in
  ”check for new messages” to about 15 minutes. Any other settings you change under Options is up to you. I usually make sure the spelling is being checked under the Spelling tab. This tab only appears if you have a word processor installed on the machine. I also like to empty my recycle bin when I close the program down which can be found under the Maintenance tab.

• Click Apply and OK. You are done with setup. Be sure to get online and send a piece of mail to yourself to test all the settings. That’s it.
